Our team at Baan Thai believes that food should be healthy as well as deliciously exciting to the taste buds. Our cooking methods are healthier, keeping oils and fat to a minimum while using a full spectrum of the wonderful flavours that Thai food is famous for.

The Thai SELECT is a mark of certification awarded by the Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, to guarantee the authenticity of Thai restaurants and Thai food products, meaning the food being served or merchandised has been prepared with proper ingredients and spices in the traditional Thai style of cooking.

i am a avid enthusiast for extremely spicy food, a colleague of mine and i dropped in here for dinner after a business venture, i must say of all the thai food restaurants i have been too the kitchen and waitress were very accommodating to my spice needs, i ordered a green curry with triple the amount of chilis added compared to the regular "extra hot" spice level and it was extremely excellent. i would highly reccomend ordering this is you love very very hot food. looking forward to visiting the next time me and my business colleague are in the area. 5 stars.

I used to live in Thailand and now in Victoria, when I want to eat authentic thai food served with a Thai welcoming smile I go to Baan Thai and I know that LEI will host me or my family as hers. LEI is fantastic and the food here is amazing ! Kop Khun Krap !

Love their $9 pad thai after 9 pm option. A good variety of late evening "happy hour" food options. Always fresh, "heat" is customizable, and generous portions. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Our host was very patient , fun and friendly. They are able to accommodate our party that came on Friday Jan 16th of about 8-9 people. S55 was a flavourful clear beef broth with rice noodles and brisket - refreshing! Bathroom is clean. No issues with service or food and everyone got their order/ drinks around the same time.

"one of the best", as my dad calls this fabulous restaurant. The food is phenomenal, just as customer service and hospitality.The drunken noodles are perfect, paired with spring rolls and wok-fried side veggies, and a delectable mango sticky rice for dessert (probably seasonal for summer). Choose the spice level at your own risk, since spicy is really hot with raw Thai red chili peppers added in.

Tasty food, great service and atmosphere. Only disappointment was paying the extra $9 for sirloin meat on the yummy Thai Garden veggies and only received maybe 7 tiny pieces of tasty meat. It made me feel a little ripped off. Coconut soup and chicken satay were amazing!

A quick stop for a quick dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the offerings and atmosphere and quick service and delicious food! We had the happy hour lettuce wrap with Chicken Larb followed by a big bowl of the Thai Coconut and Prawn and mushroom soup! Both were delicious and just what we needed to satiate our hunger. Servers were polite and informative and the food came quick and was nice and hot. I’d recommend this to anyone including gluten free guests as my friend ate the above and felt fine as they said it did not contain gluten. All yummy! 😋

The food is incredible! The kitchen definitely has it perfected. Top faves besides the awesome happy hour and late night menu are the beef brisket noodle soup or the lamb massoman. The classic green curry and Tom yum soup are also on my regular rotation. The staff are all friendly. Tonight our server, Francesca, was such a delight! She had a full house and managed it all with grace.

The place is small but pretty, comfortable and good for a group of max 6, we arrived without a reservation and it was valentines day, we waited 15 min and the service was good, the food as well ok.

An amazing little neighborhood joint. Very friendly servers. Love their efficiency and of course the food is worth coming back to. The Khao soi was a special this week. I hope they bring it back or even better find a permanent spot on the menu.

This branch of Baan Thai is one of their best with regards to the interiors and service. We've been here several times, their food and service are on point. Phad Thai and satay are always our go to food here. Their Happy Hour is also a must-try. Their Trio Mimosa is good according to my sister who thought the servings will be less but 3 glasses of 4oz Mimosa in different flavors were enough for sharing. Their non alcohol lavender drink is also good.
